The upcoming annual CRI Postharvest Workshops presented by CRI are key to preparing the citrus postharvest industry for the upcoming season. Attended by over 1000 delegates, role players include CRI and CGA staff, citrus growers, chemical companies, service providers, as well as personnel from citrus packhouses ranging across the whole of southern Africa. Presentations will cover pressing issues related to market access, economics, management of fruit quality and shelf life to comply with market requirements, as well as related topics like logistics, cooling, chilling injury, packaging, etc. The workshop is held over 2 half-days, allowing ample networking and socialising time.
