Why attend the CRI Postharvest Workshop?
CRI’s Extension Division coordinates the Postharvest Technical Forum. The aim of this Forum with its’ membership groupings is to support the pursuit of global competitiveness in the southern African citrus industry, by enabling optimization of the citrus cold chain through the provision of a platform for coordinating relevant inputs from key affected parties.
One of the functions of this forum is to convene a series of annual regional two-day CRI Postharvest workshops in the six main production regions, Limpopo (two), Mpumalanga, KZN/Swaziland, Eastern Cape and Western Cape, which will this year change to an online webinar due to Covid restrictions.
It remains imperative that the packhouse personnel and all other relevant postharvest role players stay informed of the latest research and technology developments.
Attendance of this one day webinar is therefore strongly encouraged.
